Dollhouse - Rough...very rough.

Here's a rough rough rough...and more rough look to my Epic piece, The Dollhouse.   Everything has been modeled by me, with exception of the TV and the Rocking Horse (which I've modified slightly). I got the models from Google Sketchup. Disclaimer: I'm allowed to take some models that are not mine, and use it. However, I'm not allowed to sell it nor claim it's mine, unless if I modeled it with tweaks.

I have BIG things for this, and I have a few months to work on it.

 Rough eh?

The attic was part of another piece, "The Ring", as you can kind of tell where I got the inspiration from.  In that piece, I modeled out the barn (exactly like the movie), hay, and even the tree that was embedded in the back wall. However, my teachers suggested that I not use that piece as a portfolio piece because I didn't "create" it, and it was just a "copy" of it. I already had the Dollhouse in my mind for a long time, and it was a perfect opportunity to just take the models that I already created and textures and just import it into the Dollhouse piece. Less work for me.  Sadly, I had to remove the tree...that was my favorite piece. I will add pictures of it later on.

Excuse the lousy lighting.  I will work on setting up some sort of temporary lighting system to make the models  appear better.

First Post!

AILV has implemented a new requirements, a blog to keep their coursework up online.  While I'm graduating in a few quarters, I may add some of my older works over time. Some sucks, some I'm really happy about.  There is one project that I've works on for weeks and weeks, and sadly, the thumb drive that I kept my work has fried. I backed up EVERYTHING from that thumb drive, except that file! Dumb mistake.  I think I'll re-do it again because I really liked how I did it.

You won't see any of my drawings here because they are very mediocre, and frankly, I'm embarrassed about them. Maybe a smidgen (like 1 or 2). My weakness is standard drawing and scripting.  I like and enjoy scripting, but it takes a while for me to "get it".
